I am a person who likes to make lamps and other furniture from reclaimed items that I find around town (mostly out back behind the shop where I currently work.) I see myself as a person fascinated with the art of waste and it’s re-imagining. There’s always a piece of steel, or aluminum, or broken piece of plywood shelving that could be re-appropriated into table legs, a planter, or some sort of lamp. Working in a small engine repair shop for the past five years has given me the opportunity to “recycle” engine blocks, forklift clutch springs, transmission cases, hairdryers, and a host of other parts that become pieces to another whole.
Very nice pieces! I’m definitely impressed with your work and imagination. Good work dude!
