Tried my hand at a couple of wood inserts on this base to shore up a split. How did it go?   Lets just say that resin is pretty awesome at filling in my wobbly lines and accidental chip out.  The neck is left over conduit that was miss bent from a previous job.  The base was actually for another lamp until it developed a crack and I never got around to putting it in the burn pile.  That is, till I got the sweet idea to put some inserts in it.  It turned out ok, but definitely, I need more practice. **SOLD**
